Major Policies of Pakatan Rakyat are based on the Federal Constitution Posted: 14 May 2012 04:46 AM PDT DAP National Deputy Chairman and MP for Kepong Dr Tan Seng Giaw reaffirms that the major policies of Pakatan Rakyat (PR) are based on the Federal Constitution. This is applicable to the Hudud Law. Whatever the ideology of the component parties of PR, there must be freedom of faith and respect of the ideology of DAP, PAS and PKR. As people are waiting for the 13th General Elections, Hudud issue hogs the media headlines. PAS and DAP have their respective ideologies. But, they have more common causes. Today, PR leaders once again resolve that major issues such as religion must be based on the Federal Constitution. While having common ground on fields like economy, education, health, human rights, agriculture and human rights, PR component parties respect their respective differences and ideologies.
