Comment on Complaints for DBKL by weechookeong Posted: 25 Mar 2013 04:01 AM PDT Simi Thank you for your comments/complaints. From my limited understanding of this matter, I would have thought that internal renovation work down within the building may not require the necessary approval of DBKL. However, I would do my best to check with DBKL officer pertaining to your complaints. In the interim, may i suggest that you should take it up with your JMB or Management Corporation who may be able to ensure that the Penthouse above you will have to mend all the leaks caused by the said renovation works. Thank you With kindest regards wee choo keong |

Comment on Complaints for DBKL by Simi Posted: 25 Mar 2013 02:51 AM PDT Dear Sir I live in a private apartment and my kitchen ceiling is suffering from water leaks from drainage hole in the penthouse above. I have requested the owner above to repair and compensate as the water is leaking from his floor due to extensive renovations done to his unit whereby he had turned a bedroom into a kitchen. He has refused and I wish to seek confirmation from DBKL whether or not the owner can make substantial renovations to his unit in an apartment which in turn has damaged my unit. I would appreciate if you could let me know which is the right department to bring my complain to as there are so many departments within DBKL and regretably none of the officers I had approached seem to know. I am writing to you as you have in depth knowledge of DBKL and apartment living. Thank you. |
Comment on Is WATAN-online another foreign outfit for “Regime Change”? by Foreign Agent Posted: 24 Mar 2013 11:51 PM PDT we have to be more careful if the news portal is funded by foreign agencies. of course, we had to careful with what we read. it would be better if we have knowledge of its background. For example whether is funded by NED of USA or George Sorros. |
Comment on Is WATAN-online another foreign outfit for “Regime Change”? by HM, per Posted: 24 Mar 2013 06:11 PM PDT G’day YB, I was working in Darwin when Obama came to town in Nov 2011 and announced his intentions to place 5000 diggers/army there post-Afghan. Last year I was posted in Hong Kong where I can see and feel first hand impacts to diplomatic and on-ground events when China flexed her muscles – first on Spratly in early summer and then on Senkaku/Diaoyu in early autumn. Disconcerting, to say the least. It doesn’t take a genius to know why Washington is, slowly but surely, shifting her policies to Asia Pacific region from being Middle-East centric in past decades. This year the great States of America has managed to be dependant-free of Middle-East oil and going by the initiatives set under Obama, this will be the norm for years to come. So, who cares about Middle-East, apart from the welfares for Israel of course..:-) Whether we like it or not, with this shift in Washington’s policy, SEA countries are becoming strategically important. Philipines and Singapore have made clear where their allegiences are, but not so for Malaysia. We have ‘cautious friendships’ with America & Australia and ‘friend-with-benefits’ status with China. Malaysia’s scalp is a trophy to be had – any which way is seen as a fair game (for ‘them’ and a ‘U ulang I saman’ honchos in Malaysia *wink*) |
