Mesej Dari Sahabat di Gaza

Posted: 21 Nov 2012 10:13 PM PST

MESSAGE FROM A FRIEND IN GAZA

Maybe for some Malaysian, the Israeli attacks on Gaza did not generate any sense of anger or grief whatsoever. Gaza is a faraway place, which we have never been to nor do we have anyone that we know over there. Therefore, any condemnation towards the Israel will be supported but without any deep sense or personal feelings.

I on the other hand, have been given the opportunity by Allah to visit Gaza twice. Being one of the guest of our brothers there that even though do not have much in this world, but willing to share whatever that they have with me only because they are rich of the Hereafter good deeds. Therefore I have a few good friends that were with me when I was there and when they were here in Malaysia.

One of them is 'Abu Yyish' as we would call him or Ahmad Najad. Yesterday he sent a few messages to my phone while his village was under heavy attack from the Israel. The last message that I received from him was at 11.15 in the morning. Unfortunately, after that I have yet to receive any news from him.

He also sent me a link of a video of his son Muhmmad which I am sharing here with you. How the family is faring, I don't know. I hope that they are fine under the protection of Allah. I wish that all of you can make some doa for them as well.

11/20/2012 10:18 PM Abu: A message from Wounded Gaza: O Dear Democratic Civilized World,So sorry for not posting much news about Gaza; for 6 days we have the same stories, women, children and babies killed, many people injured, many building destroyed, many families vagabonded! This is our daily routine! This is Gaza everyday life! I don't want to bother you nor disturb your comfort with our usual news, I only wait for something different,I wish it would be "the waking up of you, my dear democratic civilized world"!!

11/21/2012 8:29 AM: Abu: Watch "#GazaUnderAttack Baby Muhammad (Gaza) will never recognize "Israel"! لن نعترف ب"إ" on YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRTl6pFlp7s&feature=youtube_gdata_player

11/21/2012 9:18 AM: Khalid Abd Samad: Salaam Abu Ayish, my prayers are with you. Yesterday we passed yet another resolution in Parliament condemning Israeli aggression into Gaza. This Friday there will be a demonstration in front of the American Embassy for their support of Israel. We can talk and make doa, collect donations but nothing more it would seem. I feel very sad and helpless. May Allah help the Muslims to rise.
