【当今大马】 五年前承诺建华小迄今未动工 张念群动议削慕尤丁月薪十元

有鉴于教育部2008年承诺在沙登、双溪龙及加影兴建3所华小的承诺迄今仍未兑现，民主行动党沙登国会议员张念群今日在国会下议院提呈动议，要求象征式削减副首相兼教育部长慕尤丁月薪10令吉。

张念群在入禀动议后向记者指出，前任教长希山慕丁与前马华总会长黄家定是在2008年1月30日宣布，将会在沙登岭、双溪龙与加影先锋镇兴建3所华小，不过在近5年后，3所学校甚至还未动土。

“本届国会差不多要解散，第13届全国大选也即将举行，我们还没看到工程动土。”

Ibrahim Ahmad Badawi, the younger brother of former premier Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, was awarded the sole sugar manufacturing licence in Sarawak through a normal application process, said International Trade and Industry Minister Mustapa Mohamed.

In a written parliamentary reply to Teo Nie Ching’s (DAP-Serdang), he said Ibrahim’s company Admuda Sdn Bhd was given the licence for Sarawak, while the licence to produce sugar in Sabah went to Gula Sabah Sdn Bhd.

NONE“The approval process is the same as for the licence for other manufacturing activities - that is, through an application - and is not subject to any payment,” Mustapa(left) said.

“The applicant needs to fill the (relevant forms and provide) supporting documents for the consideration of the investment committee at the national level. Approval is based on current policy.”
