Comment on Petition Campaign: “HENTIKAN KEMUSNAHAN MAS” by Ilham Putera Posted: 15 Feb 2012 08:58 AM PST YB, Kudos for your untiring effort in raising this endless dispute with regards our national carrier future. We are with you in not trusting that the pariah will turn around the bleeding national carrier. Please note that as a result of the sudden suspension of Firefly (whose fully booked flights prior to Hari Raya was cancelled by the goons in MAS) their 2 B737-400 aircraft that was operating out of Johor Bharu can be seen parked at KLIA until today. The lease charges for the aircraft comes to the tune of RM8 million per year and MAS is still happy with the decision. If this decision is not bad enough, danny fernandes is following the advise of the fantastic advise of their consultant to engage Ishal Kutty to revamp its revenue management. Can you imagine, a person who only does pricing in Emirates is now assign to do revenue management which is a totally different cattle of fish. This under qualified guy is paid a million a year plus other perks to take the job that he is only half qualified. Cant the person responsible for this recruitment be sacked himself. Even AJ passed remarks that this guy is not up to the mark and had asked other staff in the department to backup this kutty’s incompetence. From what I had gathered, during a senior management retreat held at the Marriot Putrajaya, danny fernandes had also informed the team of MAS new logo for rebranding where the red of the WAU logo is to be replaced with light blue color (maybe red is patented for AA only). Someone from the team commented that the light blue is similar to PKR color. Danny fernandes respond was, “thats good coz we need to prepare for the future”. Did BN government realise who they have appointed to be MAS? Is danny fernandes a government nominee or the opposition. Can somebody out there tell us the answer? |

Comment on Now Everyone in AirAsia can join MAS by Atticus Posted: 15 Feb 2012 07:35 AM PST Corrupted Union leaders So you think the Unions are ‘sleeping’? I beg to differ. I think it is you guys who are sleeping and lost to the reality of what is happening. You still have your jobs today because TF and gang cannot just cut MAS up into little pieces and sell the pieces off for cash for the one and only reason, which is, MAS is unionised. Without the Unions, the lot of you will either be jobless or almost jobless by now, with compensation of just 3 month’s salary at the most. |
Comment on Petition Campaign: “HENTIKAN KEMUSNAHAN MAS” by Flyguy Posted: 15 Feb 2012 07:23 AM PST Atticus do agreed with u. not many staff know that union exco stay until 4 am (this is not typo error) for few nites just to prepared presentation to PM, where union rep met him yesterday. the main objective is to give PM the senario of what happening in MAS now. while no firm decision been made, PM himself promise to look into this “drama tamil”… this is the only way to resolve these issue by “wahyu” from the “top”. without divine intervention, we as mere human being is helpless… so, those who curse union exco, maybe u all should get to know ur rep better or do regular TT session with ur rep… YB, pls give PM all the info that u have, even u already given to him last time. all this time, he only look MAS from these 3 stooges “eye” and after the “meeting” with u, he realise that is not as “green” as other party try to impress upon him. if all the MP in Malaysia are “caring” & “concern” like u, Insyaallah, Malaysia will become no 1 country in the world…. cheers….. |

Comment on Petition Campaign: “HENTIKAN KEMUSNAHAN MAS” by Razak of MAS Posted: 15 Feb 2012 02:44 AM PST That bloody crony Rashdan still dare to remain in as Deputy CEO of MAS. A failed consultant that was abled to sell his BinaFikir for RM8 million to Maybank. Maybank must be damn stupid or the crony Rashdan was too clever. Or there was a hidden hand in Khazanah that helped him to dispose BinFikir for RM8 million. This bloody tak malu crony and to the red indian should be cursed for generation. I am sure that he will have to pay what what he had done to MAS 18,000 employees. Let Allah deals with people like Rashdan, Azman Mokhtar and the red indian. We shall see how long can they last. |

Comment on Petition Campaign: “HENTIKAN KEMUSNAHAN MAS” by Kunyit Hidup Posted: 15 Feb 2012 02:26 AM PST Just take a kit-kat-break…….. Public and private corporations must sign the integrity pledge as an expression of commitment that their business transactions are corruption-free. Malaysian Institute of Integrity president Datuk Dr Mohd Tap Salleh said the move would be the institute’s main focus this year following a surge in economic crime i and outside the country. “The PricewaterhouseCoopers Global Economic Crime Survey shows 30 per cent economic crime happened in 2009 and rose to 34 per cent last year,” he told the National Procurement Forum for the Public and Private Sectors 2012 today. Mohd Tap said Malaysia registered 44 per cent economic crimes last year as compared to only 28 per cent in 2009. He said Malaysia suffered billions of ringgit in losses from commercial crime like fraud, breach of trust, cyber crime and forgery. “It clearly shows fraud is pervasive and persistent everywhere. Controls alone are not enough, but strong ethical culture is needed,” he told the 400-odd forum participants. Mohd Tap said the pledge was “hatched” in collaboration with the Malaysian Institute of Integrity and National Key Result Area Corruption Monitoring and Coordination Division established last year. Meanwhile, the Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance president Tan Sri Megat Najmuddin Megat Khas said government and private enterprises may resort to “good weapons” to curb power abuse through integrity pacts in business and contract documentations. “This can be a powerful tool to rid power abuse and corruption as any breach of provisions will lead to contract termination,” he added. — Bernama |
