Posted: 29 Jan 2013 08:14 PM PST We want an ITIS that work and not another white elephant. We don’t need VMS for festival greetings but information about traffic follows and other important information. Why is DBKL still keeping quiet about this? If the ITIS has been awarded please be brave enough to publish the name of that famous company? Why is Dr Leong, the Pengarah of Jabatan Pengangkutan is still keeping silence? Since DBKL is trying to play game, the government should step in to investigate into how the ITIS contract has been awarded. MACC should also come in to investigate the previous ITIS contract. The paper trail should show who were the person behind it and how they screwed DBKL and which DBKL officers were involved. |
Comment on Issues for your MP by weechookeong Posted: 29 Jan 2013 07:41 PM PST Mughal Thank you for your comments. I have sent you a short note to email and would appreciate if you could respond so that we can bring the accident to the attention of DBKL so that the construction of the pedestrians overhead bridges could be expedited. In the interim, I will write another letter to DBKL to put on record about the accident. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Once again thank you so much for the information and your encouragement. With kindest regards wee choo keong |
Comment on MAS Integrity Programe NO:7 by Anonymous Posted: 29 Jan 2013 04:05 PM PST You are 100% correct. KLIA ia MAS’ home base, and the ticketing counter is a disgrace! Heard it was part of some cost-cutting, but whoever thought of this should be shot. Where is the so-called Malaysian Hospitality when you don’t even offer a seat for people who want to give you money? There are many other ways to cut cost, like not hiring more and more highly-paid people from outside. |
Posted: 29 Jan 2013 03:00 PM PST Wow, Pak Omar – here you are, passing yourself off as some sort of aviation expert who can pronounce from on high on the woes of MAS and the machinations of the “Pariah/low caste”! Incidentally, what’s with the racial epithets, eh? Are you getting your rocks by dissing Tony Fernandes instead of being man enough to confront him in public or through the mainstream media (I am sure that the New Straits Times or the Utusan would be more than happy to publish your critiques or op-ed articles). If you want to talk airline stuff, let’s go back in history to the days of MSA (as a possible MAS oldtimer, you may remember MSA) and it’s engineered breakup into MAS and SIA. Fast forward to 2013 and compare the relative positionings and strengths of the 2 airlines – MAS and SIA. Now reflect on all the wrong steps that MAS has taken since it came into being post-MSA breakup. You know, the bailouts, the retstructurings, the assets offloading strategy etc. Why aren’t you focusing your laser vision on all of that instead of knocking Tony Fernandes and AirAsia, eh? Is it because you are reluctant to admit that MAS took so many wrong turns after it was set up? That is understandable, given the predilection for MAS sympathisers (and AirAsia bashers) to find fault with everyone else except with those tasked with managing MAS from the time it was set up until now. |
Comment on Issues for your MP by Mughal Posted: 29 Jan 2013 02:13 AM PST Respected Sir, Gong Xi Fa Cai Hope you are great with your happy life. I was reading about your political performance & actions. I feel you have your own mind set to do something for peoples of Malaysia that they will remember you for long time. I am a pakistani citizen, I live at Jalan Genting Kelang, Setapak( K.L ) since 5years. If we compare to 2008 now the population of this area is around double. Mostly students in this area & around danau kota there are families & working peoples. According to population development law, this area got not any development even population is double than before. Several points: 1- In one year more than 20 road accident, injuries, deaths while crossing the road. There is available over head bridge for road crossing but TWO reasons why peoples not use it. 2- In this area almost all pedestal path are broken, If any shop owner fix path he use is for their display units. 3- Motor bike riders start from evening. Kindly take an immediately action to order a traffic light for a walking peoples who can cross the road in front of Public bank. I will be appreciate you. Regards, Aamir Mughal |
