Comment on Misleading advertisment by Proton Edar? by heng Posted: 23 Jan 2013 03:33 AM PST Quite rightly put, this was one of the misleading ads of all times. The ads clearly stated that any Proton car. When called upon to check then the restrictions come into play. This is a clear case of misleading ads which Ministry of Domestic should take action under the new regulation on Misleading Ads. |

Posted: 22 Jan 2013 09:15 PM PST Sheesh – is Dr M an aviation expert? You might as well ask Dr Cheong C K, a former CEO of SIA, to come in and turn MAS around. But that’s a non-starter. For one, he’s of the wrong ethnicity! Two, the all-powerful MAS unions would take extreme umbrage at being compared to SIA. Imagine the cheek of it! Third, MAS has become a political football and a proxy for a hard line nationalist agenda. We all know what Dr M achieved with Proton. To the extend that it’s an object of ridicule to Jeremy Clarkson of “Top Gear” fame. Please don’t let Clarkson get started on MAS! |
Comment on AirAsia did not meet regulatory standard? by Hendry Posted: 22 Jan 2013 08:29 PM PST Faris Pakhi Yes you sounded pretty dumb. You trying to defend the indefensible. Who is going to be responsible if after the AOC expired and not renewed? Do you know how difficult it is get refund from AA?Do you know how difficult just to get a refund of airport tax from AA? Please wake up. You know pretty what is the business model of AA. It is all about sale and not safety. You should know that safety cost money. |

Comment on AirAsia did not meet regulatory standard? by Faris Pakhri Posted: 22 Jan 2013 07:26 PM PST So does this mean all other airlines should not (or must not) sell tickets past their current AOC? Interesting. If Airline A’s AOC is expiring end of this year, should they stop selling tickets for next year while awaiting their AOC to be renewed, regardless of how long it may take? Pretty dumb if you ask me |
Comment on AirAsia did not meet regulatory standard? by Faris Pakhri Posted: 22 Jan 2013 07:16 PM PST ” showed shortcomings in AirAsia's flight operations procedures and practices including flawed communications between flight operations and pilots, an outdated manual and flight operations not in keeping with the manual.” This could, or could not mean a safety issue. The fact that you people already jumped the gun and brand it as a ‘safety issue’ says it all really regarding agendas and what not. The fact that some has questioned the integrity of the DCA is interesting to say the least. Is it temporary because of AA’s cronies at work, or is because it’s actually a minor issue which does not require an immediate suspension off operations? The eye will see what it wants to see, regardless of what is actually being seen. |
Posted: 22 Jan 2013 04:12 PM PST Dr M has maintained a deafening silence on MAS because Slumberjack is the advisor. To get Dr M to start his comments on MAS and to whip this company into performing shape, (and not a national shame as it is now) YB Wee and his readers must campaign tirelessly to get Slumberjack out of MAS (and into AA may be?).
