Youths should be given a chance to innovate. Let us hope that values such as integrity will be inculcated.  |

The 16-year-old Chinese swimmer broke the world record to win the London Olymlpics 400 metre medley. Since aged 6, she has left home for training. She is 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighing 141 pounds with very large hands and feet. Some suspect that she has taken banned substances. The British Swimming Association insists that she is clean. Every athlete must undergo strict test against banned substances.  |

Since aged 7 she has been training under Todd Schimidt. HItherto, she has refused the lucrative professional status. Training and determination are essentials.  |
