Radios & Televisions must be fair to ruling & opposition parties Posted: 23 May 2012 12:30 AM PDT DAP National Deputy Chairman and MP for Kepong Dr Tan Seng Giaw calls on the Government to allow radios and televisions to be fair to ruling and opposition parties. Now, the ruling coalition monopolizes radios and televisions in Malaysia. On 22.5.2012, Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said that he intended to propose to the Cabinet giving equal airtime opportunities for all political parties to present their election manifesto. Normally, Barisan Nasional has exclusive control of radios and televisions, especially during elections. Today, Datuk Seri RaisYatim issues the above-mentioned statement. We hope the Government truly gives all political parties opportunities to presnt their manifestioes. Tan Seng Giaw
