It seems that WAU was not enough for them. Now Rashdan is put there to screw it up further. PM had to step in quickly before the damage will be irreparable.

Present ownership appears to be the handiwork of people who takes it for granted that they can get away with practically anything. Accusations after accusations have made their rounds and the public wants answers. YB Wee CK has brought up the issues in parliament and still no answers. Mas puts food on the table for thousands of employees who are correctly worried about their family’s future. Aren’t their concerns important to the government of the day ? We know that most politicians are not very smart people..that is why they make politics their career. Hire bona fide professionals to unearth and explain to the public whats going on(wishful thinking ) To Mas employees, hope for a miracle….and more of Wee CK.

AA has to find like RM51bill for all the aircraft it is buying. I am no accountant but looking at AA revenue figures, the only way AA can do this is to “collaborate” with MAS, with the blessings of the highest powers that be of course. This then becomes the story of the camel and the Arab, sooner or later, the Arab will find himself tent-less while the camel sleeps comfortably in the tent. Example, in MAS recently rolled out Business Plan, all staff wondered why in the network, no arrows went to Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). Answer – we work with a ‘partner’ who will fill up their planes, bring pax to Kuala Lumpur, and MAS fills up its 380s to bring them to Europe. This partner is supposed to be Qantas. Ah, no wonder Tony is working so hard to persuade Quantas to make KL its Asian hub. Because, if this plan works, MAS will no longer fly ANZ routes, guess who is waiting to take over the rights? Already AAX has announced that it is confident of beating Scoot into Sydney by June 2012. MAS is just a pawn in the much bigger game. Comment on MAS paid US$3.35 million under anti-trust law in US by anonymous Posted: 19 Dec 2011 06:35 AM PST Impartial The answer to your question on the RM49mill, this was the figure given to all staff via an email circular from Dr Wafi himself, to ‘showcase’ the good work he and his ‘team’ put in, to protect MAS from being fined a ‘possible’ RM 2billion or some humonguous figure that would have bankrupted MAS. The USD3.35 is just ONE of the many fines MAS had to pay out. But, in MAS Bolehland, no-one will be punished, most probably because many, many ,many would be brought down simultaneously. So, we better scratch each others backs, bro. It is common knowledge that even the internal arm to conduct investigations into ‘improprieties’, do so very selectively. Corruption appears in all forms in MAS, including moral corruption.

Thousands of MAS staff in all corners of the Company saw the writing on the wall with this share swap and so-called collaboration. Never mind Tony or AA, they want to make money and ensure their own survival, which before this “Collaboration” , was looking pretty shaky too with Firefly eating into their market share. Today, the CEO and his deputy, months after the ‘swap’ seem to have real difficulty explaining or articulating CLEARLY to the staff what the “Collaboration” covers. Since these two are intelligent people, we can only conclude that they must be trying to cover something up, or that they are in cahoots with Tony and Amokh to cannibalise, loot, or even do a number on MAS which will benefit Tony, AA and those under his patronage. Everything justifies the means, as Tony told a packed MAS townhall attended by 600+ staff that “BRIBERY WORKS IN MALAYSIA”! 1Malaysia and Najib could not ask for a better endorsement than this! So, how to fix something that is taken as a “norm” in our country today?

I am sure that the PM, an educated man, is appraised of what had been done by Azman Mokhtar and his crony Rashdan. I believe it is a matter of the timing. No right thinking members can allow such stupid decisions to kill our national carrier in the name of losses when the losses are due to leakages like high salaries and perks for the Panamera Deadwoods.

Same goes to Kuching, Firefly double the frequencies. I wonder are the management of Firefly under Datuk Eddy Leong is so stupid to increased the flight frequency if the Jet operation is loosing money or somebody is so clever to stop the jet operation of Firefly?
