【星洲日报】新旧垃圾承包商交接期间 ‧ 不法徒“勒索”服务费 Posted: 15 May 2011 08:40 AM PDT Lokasi: Balakong Ahli Parlimen Serdang Saudari Teo Nie Ching bersama Ahli MPKj Saudara Lee Ah Seng telah melawati Jalan Besar, Balakong pada 12 May yang lepas untuk mengikuti perkembangan kerja menaiktaraf jalan tar serta memeriksa kemudahan awam yang rosak. Adalah difahamkan bahawa kontrak pemungut sampah untuk kawasan Balakong akan tamat pada bulan ini dan selepas itu, kontaktor pemungut sampah yang baru akan dilantik oleh MPKj. Lee Ah Seng memberitahu media di mana terdapat pihak-pihak cuba mengambil kesempatan mengutip bayaran bulanan RM300 daripada peniaga-peniaga di Balakong sempena tempoh peralihan kontrak ini. Orang awam diingatkan bahawa pihak-pihak tersebut tidak pernah diberi tauliah oleh pihak berkuasa MPKj dan mereka tidak berhak mengutip sebarang bayaran daripada orang awam, peniaga dan juga pekilang di Balakong. 张念群与李亚成巡视已重新铺上沥青的无拉港大路。（图：星洲日报） （雪兰莪‧无拉港12日讯）无拉港地区新旧垃圾承包商交接期间，有不法之徒趁虚而入，向商家“勒索”每月300令吉的垃圾费，商家受促提高警惕！ 加影市议员李亚成指出，旧的垃圾承包商合约于本月到期，无拉港地区将会重新换上新的垃圾承包商。 商家投诉征收300服务费 “但是新承包商才刚获接受，我便接获超过10宗来自商家的投诉，指有人向他们征收每月300令吉的‘服务费’。” (More......)

【当今大马】警方抢唛阻挠反稀土厂集会 . 四人“仆街”抗议遭上铐逮捕 Posted: 15 May 2011 03:48 AM PDT 行动党在关丹所举行的反莱纳斯稀土厂和平请愿集会遇挫，警方在集会开始10分钟后，便冲上演讲台抢麦克风阻止党领袖发言，更即场逮捕了4人。  这4名被捕者是彭亨行动党组织秘书李政贤、宣传秘书邹宇晖、槟城行动党环境局主任邓晓璇与该党喉舌《火箭报》记者许慧莹。警方将他们烤上手铐，押回关丹警察总部。 他们在被捕5小时后获得口头保释，需要在一个月后前往该警察总部报到，但警方始终未说明4人所犯何罪。 人在现场的行动党沙登国会议员张念群指出，集会在上午11点开始，彭亨行动党主席梁金福和公正党英迪拉马哥打国会议员阿占依斯迈（Azan Ismail）轮流上台发言。之后，当轮到全国社青团团长陆兆福发言时，警方便冲上台夺过麦克风，中断演讲。 她告诉《当今大马》，当主办单位决定让步，不再发表演说后，该4人便躺在一个反对莱纳斯稀土厂的海报上，象征反对稀土厂，孰料便立刻被警方逮捕。张念群指出，现场的出席者约有百人。 仆街行动面部朝地“打叉”  李政贤在被扣时受访指出，有关活动名为“反稀土厂仆街行动”，他们4人当时是面部朝地，集体呈现一个“X”符号躺在该巨型海报上，象征对稀土厂“打叉”。 不过，关丹警区主任莫哈末加斯马尼（Mohd Jasmani Yusof）在“仆街行动”进行不到一分钟，便下令逮捕他们4人。 仆街行动最近在面子书相当火红，其源头是台湾两名少女宣称要通过面子书“仆街”照片宣传台湾乡土的行动。在这些照片当中，所谓“仆街少女” 全身打直、臉朝下，横“仆”楼梯、马路、邮筒、肉摊等地方而走红。 警方还不知用何法令控告 李政贤早前在警察局内继续向《当今大马》指出，莫哈末加斯马尼仍未会晤他们4人。 (More......)

[Malaysiakini] Four arrested at anti-Lynas protest Posted: 15 May 2011 03:44 AM PDT ~ S Pathmawathy Four people were arrested in Kuantan, Pahang today during at a rally organised by the anti-Lynas Advanced Material Plant (LAMP) movement. The protestors had gathered in front of DAP's service centre on Jalan Baserah in the state capital at about 11.30am. Barely 10 minutes into the demonstration, the police had moved in. Pahang DAP publicity secretary Chow Yu Hui and organising secretary Lee Chin Chen as well as Khor Huey Ying and Thing Siew Shuen, from the DAP's headquarters were arrested. “The protest had just started for about 10 minutes. "After speeches were delivered by the Triang rep and Pahang DAP chairperson Leong Ngah Ngah as well as member of parliament Azan Ismail (PKR-Indera Mahkota), the police interrupted and tried to grab the microphone from Anthony Loke (DAP-Rasah) when it was his turn to deliver a speech,” said DAP Serdang MP Teo Nie Ching, who was at the scene. Teo said that after convincing the police that the representatives would stop their speeches, the four DAP reps decided to show their dissatisfaction by “lying on the anti-Lynas banner”, whereupon they were immediately arrested. The four were taken to the Kuantan district police headquarters to have their statements recorded. According to Kuantan police chief Mohd Jasmani Yusof, the four were taken in for questioning after they refused to disperse and instead lay down on the road. (More......)
