Now, the people of Raub are concerned about the Bukit Koman Gold Mining Factory. The Government should set up an internationally-recognized team to investigate the effects of cyanide-based processes on residents in the surrounding areas and other demographically similar areas. |

Education Minister YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin maintains that it is fair. The number of primary Chinese school students is 21% of the total number of primary school students in the country. The successive Fifth Malaysia Plans allocate 2.4% to 3.6% development fund to Chinese schools compared with that of 95% to national schools. |
