（雪兰莪‧加影8日讯）加影市议会拨出6万2千650令吉紧急拨款，以采取短期方案防止金峰花园（Desa Karumas）7路的土崩情况恶化！

金峰花园7路后方的斜坡高约12公尺，与11间住家仅距离3.5公尺，斜坡斜度达45度。

斜坡在约10年前开始发生土崩，泥土在大雨时随着雨水往下倾泻，6年前的严重土崩导致4尺高泥堆堆满后巷，今年4月份更发生泥土连带大石“冲”入住家事件，令居民忧心忡忡。

张念群：发展商拒建围墙 市会入禀追讨工程费

沙登国会议员张念群表示，斜坡问题拖延许久，市议会多次与发展商见面，都无法达到共识，对方拒绝兴建围墙，市议会唯有入禀法庭，向发展商追讨所需的工程费用，案件将在下周开始审讯。

[Malay Mail] RM62k remedial works on Balakong's dangerous slope to be completed

IMMEDIATE ACTION: A reinforced wall will be built as extra protection

REMEDIAL works are being carried out at the landslip prone area of Desa Karunmas in Balakong especially to an unstable 22m-high slope to ensure no immediate danger is posed to residents.

The RM62,500 project is a short-term solution to several landslips which occurred in the backyards of several houses at Jalan Karunmas 7.

The remedial works, which started four days ago, would be completed by next weekend.

Serdang Member of Parliament Teo Nie Ching yesterday said the repair works would also reduce the gradient of the slope from 45 degrees to about 27 to 32 degrees.

"A gabion block (reinforced wall) will be built as extra protection for the row of 11 houses 3.5m away from the slope. In addition, soil bags will be placed in the gulley at the top of the hill to address soil drainage."

Teo had gone to inspect the work site with Balakong assemblyman Yap Lum Chin, together with Kajang Municipal Council engineering department staff councillors.

The works are being executed following a landslip in end-April that damaged a retaining wall which residents claim wasn't the first they had encountered.

On long-term slope protection plans, Teo said a study was now being conducted by a council-appointed expert and is expected to be ready next month.

Question for Dr Chua SL: Which version of Buku Jingga he was reading?

Dr Chua Soi Lek in his exclusive interview with Malaysiakini said that DAP's promise to recognise the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) is not written in Buku Jingga, I wonder which version of Buku Jingga he was reading, Utusan's version or pirated version?
