Dear John
We have contacted DBKL and they have informed us that the hawkers have licence to do business. We have informed them that the area is not gazetted for market so it shouldn’t be allowed to operate there. We will follow up tomorrow.

Sorry about the inconvenience and disturbance. I will try my very best to resolve the problems.

To YB Wee Choo Keong and Mr Yaacob

This is John that has complaint about the illegal morning market in Desa Setapak on 28th march, I seriously doubt that DBKL did take action against the hawkers, because they instead if disappearing, they are now growing in number. I wonder what DBKL has been doing, most probably nothing. I think I have waited long enough for DBKL to take action and to write to you again, so please don ask me to wait again. DBKL should send someone to confiscate all their goods and equipment so that they will never come back again, not just warn and saman them. Im now getting so helpless, desperate and disappointed. Who else should i ask help from?

the sound system of LRT station wangsa maju too loud recently, really affecting housing area nearby, therefore, cannot sleep before 11.30pm, and it starts broadcast again even before the sky is still dark in the morning. i wish it can lower down the volumn because i guess the purpose is only to alert those at the lrt station, not the whole wangsa maju
