Judgment on Anwar

I am totally disappointed with the Court's verdict on Anwar's conviction. The judgment has thrown doubts on the integrity of the administration of justice in Malaysia.

If even a person of Anwar's standing, when oppressed by the Executive, can't find justice in the system, what will become of an ordinary people when he is oppressed by the rich and powerful?

This is a dark day for justice and democracy in Malaysia. All Malaysians of fair mind and sense of justice must remember this dark day of Malaysian history. Let us all channel this anger and disappointment into a stronger desire for change.

对于法庭定罪安华的判决，我感到极度失望。这种判决让人对于马来西亚的司法公正，感到质疑。若连一个如安华这般社会地位的人，被执政者迫害时也无法得到公正，平民百姓面对权贵迫害时，更加没有保障。

今天是马来西亚公正和民主黑暗的一天。所有具正义感和热爱民主的马来西亚人民，都应谨记这马来西亚历史黑暗的一页。让我们把这股愤怒和失望，化为更大寻求改变的动力。
