Posted: 19 Jan 2012 06:48 AM PST Press : My first question to you is how do you feel about Selangor Menteri Besar, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim(non Pas member) taking over the Islamic affairs, infrastructure and public amenities portfolio that was once held by Pas man Datuk Hasan Ali when he was state Exco? Iskandar : As an Islamic Party it is only natural that we strongly feel that the Islamic Affairs potfolio should go to PAS. However MB had explained that he will be holding the post temporarily. This I believe in order to sufficiently prepare Dr Yunus for the job. Its up to the PAS leaders at the national level to discuss the date of handing over at the Pakatan Rakyat Presidential Council. Press : Since MB will be holding the post temporarily, are you certain the post will permanently go to Dr Yunus ? Iskandar : That is the hope of our members in Selangor. MB had said temporary. We will hold on to that promise.  |
