In the first version, dated 25 September 2011, a correct report was filed (see below). In it, Martin Carvalho correctly quoted Lim Guan Eng as saying that the party's entire Central Executive Committee (CEC) leadership would resign if anyone can prove that Hudud law would be implemented in the Common Policy Framework (CPF) or Buku Jingga that has been presented to the public. In other words, if Hudud law was inscribed in and prescribed by the CPF or Buku Jingga, then our CEC leaders would resign en masse from their party posts in the DAP. However, this was replaced by a different version on 26 September 2011 (also see below) that implied wrongly and falsely that Lim had threatened the resignation of the party's top leadership from the Pakatan Rakyat Leadership Council if Hudud law was found to be in the CPF or Buku Jingga. This is categorically untrue as Lim had neither made any threats to quit the Pakatan Rakyat leadership council, nor the Pakatan Rakyat in general. All Lim had said was that the entire CEC leadership would resign from their party posts to take full responsibility if Hudud law was found to be included in the CPR or Buku Jingga. Kindly explain the contradictions and conflicting premises of your two articles, and how an initially correct report had come to be replaced by one that was imaginatively concocted.
