Comment on Complaints for DBKL by Yaacob Posted: 07 Oct 2012 11:38 PM PDT En Lokman Untuk makluman sdr kami telah menghubungi pihak DBKL dan pihak DBKL juga tidak berapa jelas berkenaan dengan projek seperti yang dinyatakan dan pegawai DBKL berkenaan telah setuju untuk meneliti perkara tersebut serta akan ke lokasi bagi meninjau dengan secara terperinci. Pihak kami juga menjelaskan bahawa penduduk-penduduk tidak berapa setuju dengan projek berkenaan dimana pihak kami berpendapat perlu ada kawasan kosong bagi kemudahan penduduk-penduduk beriadah terutamanya di kawasan perumahan awam yang di kelilingi oleh bangunan-bangunan konkrit dan pelbagai projek pembangunan. Kami akan memaklumkan kepada sdr sekiranya ada maklum balas dari pihak DBKL, untuk makluman lanjut boleh menghubungi kami di no 41433322 atau 0122186929. Comment on Complaints for DBKL by lokman Posted: 07 Oct 2012 07:10 PM PDT Dear Sir, My family has been living in Flat DBKL Gombak Setia, near the LRT Taman Melati station for almost 25 years now. I’ve seen the development of the area since I was 4 and I must say the local authorities has done a good job in it and we are thankful for that. It’s a good neighborhood and very convenient. Any kind of development is engaged to resolves some sort of issues or problem such as lack of housing or lack of facilities. I believe that you would agree that a development without a proper planning shouldn’t be engaged at all. This is what happen in our neighborhood, block 28 & 30 of Flat DBKL, Gombak Setia where DBKL is in the midst of building a few futsal court in our blocks. While development is always welcome in our neighbourhood but I believe this is not one of it. Our neighbourhood used to have an open space where people could meet up and helds events, and kids can run around playing “Polis Sentri” and such but now the small open space that we have, has been built with a foot massaging block in the middle of it, the badminton court has been changed to parking space and now DBKL is building another 2 futsal court (a caged one) in between our two block which is the last open space we have in our neighbourhood, which is not just used by our neighbourhood but the serrounding as well. The first one has completed and the other 1 will be starting in a week or two. A few concerns has been raised by the residents here and one of them is the noise that they will hear midnight when people come and play there since the futsal court is literally 5 meters away from their backyard. It is bad enough that we (the residents) are not notified of these projects. I’m writing here as to seek your urgent attention to postponed the development of the additional futsal courts in our neighbourhood and have a discussion with us, the resident, which supposed to be the stakeholders of these projects. Better still if we can have DS Idris leading us…..
