I have always been curious what the slumber jack has contributed to MAS so far and how much is he being paid. Is there anyone who knows? In time like now MAS should off load such type of pax.

Sad but true – MAS, once the envy of many airlines in the region and around the world with the World’s Best Cabin Crew ( 6 times winner ), now a distant memory with even Garuda taking accolades while MAS is left in tatters, no thanks to most of the self praised, useless, hopeless managers and directors.

This must be payback/karma ~ for treating your staff and crew like dirt, while you enjoyed the recognitions, awards and benefits that the staff and crew worked so hard to win…

And until you (AJ and gang) stop all the bullsh*t and re-engage your staff and crew with respect and understanding, you will never succeed in getting whatever you plan to work and implement successfully. You really don’t need to be a rocket scientist to understand this, or DO YOU?

How can you say INFERIOR product? Do you know or not, for the 8 first class seats, these wise guys spent RM6million for the crockery and cutlery (pinggan mangkok) alone? Top class fine bone china, dont play play.Okaylah, if six A380, this means RM6million for 48 seats in total. So please do the simple arithmetic and tell me how long before we get our money back on this one “investment” alone? The product not inferior, its the DECISION MAKING that is INFERIOR. What can we expect, semua ikut CON-sultant, pay millions to be conned.

And why has MAS come up with an INFERIOR product compared to their rivals Singapore airlines and Emirates? And they had to send the plane back to Toulouse to get it refurbished? Crazy. Always 5 years behind their rivals. I have always stated for many years that cutting cost in the front line services will drive customers away. They were one of the best a few years ago even in economy, now they are trailing even behind Garuda Indonesia.
The cost cutting should be at the top – brainless directors and other freeloading parasites; followed by other one sided deals like the LSG-Sky chef catering services. RM 6.25 billion for 25 years??? wow.
Plus good ol’ Uncle Tony also screwed MAS by dismantling Firefly and setting MAS back a few years. Don’t forget stealing Tokyo Haneda traffic slots; messing about with rural air services in Malaysian Borneo and the QPR sponsorship.
No wonder he ran away to Jakarta. I would.

Unless MAS does something radical like Japan Airlines did a couple of years back, all their turnaround plans will be in vain. Why? Look at how much they are spending on people who are clearly unproductive and ineffective. Probably because they have no brains and no interest in the aviation sector apart from getting a big fat pay cheque and getting first class tickets for RM0.
I feel very sorry for the amazing MAS pilots, cabin crew and engineers plus some ground staff who have given their blood and sweat for MAS. The rest should all be fired. End of.
Very top heavy … and not of the Pamela anderson kind.

In the history of MAS, nobody gets hanged for things like this. In fact, if the people who made these kind of decisions follow the well-honed tai-chi rules and they have godfathers, they may even be PROMOTED and given bigger roles to play, and more money to waste. You want Dr Don to remedy this?No way. He is also part of the history that bred the culture of “the bigger you fumble, the higher you will go” provided of course, you have that Godfather.

EASIER PAYMENT TERMS FOR SKIM CERIA RECIPIENT.

Posted: 30 Jun 2012 03:32 AM PDT

SHAH ALAM : Recipients of the state government's Skim CERIA no longer need to pay a deposit before repairs and upgrades on their flats can begin.

State executive councillor for Housing, Building Management and Squatters, Iskandar Abdul Samad, said repairs could begin as long as the management committees, joint management bodies or residents' associations signed agreements  to pay the amount owed.

"Previously, they had to pay  five per cent advance on their share of 20 per cent for repairing low-cost flats," he said, adding that the state had decided to relax the scheme's criteria during an exco meeting that was held recently.

The residents could later pay the  balance 15 per cent with a monthly maximum repayment of RM50  over a number of months or years, while the state bears 80 per cent of the costs. The flats' committees or associations can also choose to repay their debt using their sinking funds.

An exco meeting will be held to discuss whether the same terms can be applied to medium-cost homes.

Currently,  residents have to pay a five per cent advance on their share of 40 per cent of the cost of repairs. The government will bear the rest of   the cost. The monthly repayment in this instance is up to RM100 per person.

The recent exco meeting also decided that the state Housing Board and the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) would co-manage the fund. Previously, it was solely handled by PKNS.

Iskandar added that contractors and developers outside PKNS would also be allowed to bid for contracts through open tenders.

"We would begin advertising for tenders for phase three in a month's time," he said, adding that it was targeting to complete repair  and upgrade works in 100 homes by year-end.

The scheme is open to all low-and medium-cost flats and apartments in Selangor. Skim Mesra has so far completed works on 17 flats under Phase 1 of the project and  34 under Phase 2. In Phase 3, it would be  giving a facelift to 70 flats and apartments.

"The flats are selected based on our own site visits and through the recommendation of   assemblymen. However,  those who want to apply to the scheme can write to us," he said, adding that based on the state's observation, most rundown flats were in Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya - Veena Babulal, NST.

"Jangan memperlekehkan kepandaian mereka," tambahnya lagi.

ITIS electronic signboards in the city out of order

About 70% of the variable message sign (VMS) system installed to inform motorists of the traffic situation and the alternative routes to take in Kuala Lumpur are not in working condition. The Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Ministry via Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has paid about RM12mil to Integrated Transport Information System (ITIS) to maintain the VMS systems since it started operations in 2004.
"However, out of the 146 VMS units installed, only 46 are in working condition," said Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng.He said he had raised the matter to Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin in Parliament on June 18. Lim said Nong Chik had replied in a written statement on the same day stating the reasons for the dysfunctional units, which included road-widening and construction work, theft of electric cables and faulty VMS main components.
The statement said DBKL was given an allocation of RM1.5mil per year just to maintain VMS, which include replacing of cables and VMS components, and that DBKL is now upgrading the existing system to provide better information to commuters.
"RM12mil spent in the last eight years is an alarming figure. I assume that the ministry is unable to repair the system since no spare parts are available in the market. Shouldn't the system be assessed and tested out first for at least two years before sealing the contract? For the last eight years, they have been using taxpayers' money to maintain the system," he told reporters at his office.
"I would like to know the terms of the agreement and I hope the KL mayor will make a decision to terminate the contract with ITIS, as this involves taxpayers' money," he said.
ITIS is a transport information system designed to improve the planning and flow of the city's traffic system to ensure better management. Other benefits of VMS include the technology to capture real-time traffic information for incident management and long-term transport planning, alleviate traffic congestion and delays during rush hour as well as emergency situations.

Akhbar Sinar Harian jangan jadi alat parti politik-DS Nizar

Posted: 29 Jun 2012 05:29 AM PDT

IPOH:  Datuk Seri Ir Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin mengharapkan akhbar Sinar Harian mengekalkan pemberitaan adil dan telus sekalipun menjelang pilihan raya umum ke-13 nanti.

223 Pelajar Tahfiz Dapat Biasiswa Yayasan Selangor

TR1MA -SILAP MATA BN ,RAKYAT MALAYSIA TERTIPU LAGI!

Posted: 28 Jun 2012 10:26 PM PDT

They don't count in this program!
