Mr Wee Choo Keong

I read your blog because of the simple interpretation – Yang Berkhidmat.

While it’s a shame that you chose to leave the current climate of “Politics of Hatred”, I am glad that you left us hope that you will do what you said below …

“saya akan memberikan segala bantuan dimana yang boleh saya memainkan peranan untuk membina negara yang kita semua cintai.”

Thankyou for your past service and thanks in advance for the future.

YB, while we are saddened that you will not be contesting inPRU13, we respect your decision and are heartened to note that you will still continue to serve in whatever capacity you will be in. I echo many of the comments here, it is such a great loss to WM and the nation, to have lost a voice of conviction and principle. The PM clearly did not display “People First” when he did not offer the best person for WM as a candidate.
For us in MAS, we can never thank you enough for standing up for us. We owe you a debt of gratitude we can now never repay, except to keep you in our thoughts and prayers always. You, above all, have shown by your deeds what it truly means to be first and foremost, a MALAYSIAN.

Its funny that in this blog which espouses to decry the “Politics of Hate” the loudest sentiment one hears reading through the responses is that of scorn and derision. Precisely the type of behaviour that is accused of others. Where is the example of listening which is championed so loudly. Listen to the man carefully. To the essence of his complaint. You have even made it clear in bold red font yet how many supporters of this blog have taken the effort to hear. It is the “reflection of the callous insensitivity towards Christians” which the Bishop complains about. In today’s context (who knows what context might those three years have had or what complaints were registered or not), with all the claims made about inclusiveness, could you imagine what would be the complaint if the election was set for a Friday. If its unthinkable, out of a sensitivity for the Muslims, is it not insensitive too for the Christians, assuming we take them for fellow Malaysians of equal standing. Let’s not kid ourselves and call names like hate politics and 1Malaysia when you too are guilty of the same hate and lack of inclusiveness as though you are different from the others.

YB Wee, saya mula mengenali nama anda melalui seorang rakan, mendiang Tan Sin Beng(mungkin YB kenal).

Dear YB,

I am really shocked and sad to know that you are not contesting for the coming election. However, though with much regret, I must respect your decision.

Thank you so much for what you have done for us in Wangsa Maju, particularly for the residents in Idaman Sutera Condo. You have helped us to solve our problems with the Developer, our sewerage problems and many more, which no other MPs would even bother. Yes, I do agree with Anonymous that you are an asset and a role model for all aspiring politicians.

All the best in your future undertakings, thank you again and may God bless you!

Salam buat sdr Ngsk..

sdr trsilap buat tuduhan..apa beza calon sdr ..bukan ke katak juga?dulu dia dr parti mane? jawab la sendiri!!

sdr tau atau tidak yg YB Wee lah yg mempertahankan kg tradisi kami di parlimen..tapi mana pemimpin sdr disaat kg kamii hampir tergadai..kalau nak harap pemimpin melayu Pas dgn Pkr yg hanya pandai bermain kata2 di markaz Pas di tmn melewar

pada kami lebih baik kami bertuankan katak drpd brtuankan pemimpin yg bertuankan kuasa asing lagi rendah moralnya..!

apa guna pemimpim yg nampak saja islamik tapi hanya bertopengkan agama utk memperbodohkan rakyat..!
